This film is an amazing achievement in both storytelling and fight choreography. The director's simple, economical camera setups mirror the brutal efficiency of the karate on display here. A wonderful breath of fresh air in the martial arts genre.

Pretty much as good as it gets for Jackie Chan martial arts films! Lots of creative fight scenes (Jackie Chan does "drunken boxing" better than anyone!), filmed very well, with characters you care about; interesting sets and cinematography; and a good, simple plot. Top this off with an irresistible performance by the ever-naughty Anita Mui and a great soundtrack, and you've got a real winner.
Plot: "Fighter In the Wind" is the story of Choi Bae-dul, a real-life legendary martial arts figure who, during his peak, defeated hundreds of martial arts experts in Japan and around the world.
Simply our favorite Jet Li film, featuring some of the best fight choreography, acting, and cinematography we've seen. The plot is easy to follow, and this film is always a joy to watch. If you only buy one martial arts DVD in your life, this is the one it should be.

Plot: Witness this battle between a brave brand of Chinese boxers and literally thousands of Ching troops--complete with betrayals, intrigues, and such novel fighting machines as 108 wooden robots. Monks struggle to stay alive in the face of overwhelming odds.
Plot: Liu Chia Liang makes his directorial debut in this film about a pseudo-ghost catcher who catches more than he bargained for. The film not only quickly established Liu as a genius director, but credited him with introducing comedy into the kung fu genre.
