This film gets a lot of mileage (literally) out of its super-cool Japanese "bullet train" footage, kitschy 70s music, and kinetic shooting style. It loses points for its gaping plot holes.

Ancient costume kung fu meets "The Temple Of Doom". Clearly inspired by that Harrison Ford film, "Burning Paradise" adds lot of innovative wire-fu with creative choreography and plenty of weirdness. Unfortunately, it seemed to drag at times.

We concede that this film was supposed to be silly, but we find it unbearable. This 90-minute portrait of ignorance is jam-packed with horrible puns, despicable characters, insultingly bad acting, and lame, low-key racism. The plot, on the other hand, isn't jam-packed with anything at all.
