A bunch of would-be special ed students try to evade a slow-moving overweight mummy during a thunderstorm with no rain.
Luc Besson's derivative story is too heavy-handed, and his "Paris" is a bland mishmash of the same tourist attractions that adorn most Parisian postcards.
A fun dark comedy/horror that's a bit more intelligent than most films of the genre. Witty dialog and performances keep the film afloat, though it isn't quite scary or funny enough to truly impress.
As far as Jackie Chan films go, the Armor or God series always shines. From beginning to end, it's a non-stop ride of action, acrobatics, and hilarious antics.
This is a masterpiece of comedy. Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi are masters of their craft, and this film is an absolute necessity for anyone with even a passing interest in horror-comedy.
