Plot:	A troupe of entertainers struggles to make living by touring sleazy theatres and music halls. Business is declining and so as the quality of the audience, and two sisters in the troupe are struggling to determine their future.
Overview:	A troupe of entertainers struggles to make living by touring sleazy theatres and music halls. Although the business is declining and so as the quality of the audience, two sisters are part of the troupe. The elder, Chang Mei Yu, keeps trying to push her sister Mei Wai into the leading role. But Mei Wai sees no future in the troupe. A young reporter follows the troupe to do an investigative report. He falls in love with Mei Wai and encourages her to lead her own life. Mei Yu, after making all the sacrifices, has to stand up by herself to face the future...
