A stunning visual work; but the two constantly bickering lead characters may wear quickly on your patience, and there is no plot to speak of. Check this one out for yet another exceptional Wong Kar-Wai visual experience.

Plot: International action-superstar Jackie Chan plays Fung Tat, a hard-hitting cop who sacrifices his dreams to care for his only brother: a childlike innocent whose endearing simplicity renders him an unsuspecting victim of a kidnap conspiracy.

This was a colossal letdown. Even Yuen Biao fans should definitely skip this ultra-slow-paced stinker. It redefines the word "meandering", and comes close to redefining the word "Oh-my-god-that's-the-worst-fighting-I've-ever-seen".

AKA: Heroes In The Late Ming Dynasty; Heroes In Ming Dynasty [on-screen title] Hong Kong: 1979
Tin Peng (Tien Pung), Polly Kuan, Pai Ying (Bai Ying) Martial Arts / Action/Adventure
Plot: After two emperors conspire to frame patriotic General Shung at a rigged court martial, Shung's followers must work behind the scenes to see that justice is done.
A surprisingly good romantic comedy about false idols and self-acceptance. Offers an insightful--if often lighthearted--look at the social mores that perpetuate and hinder modern day relationships. Jordan Chan's brilliance, as always, illuminates his supporting role and lends credibility to the entire film.
