| Overview: | Jason (Alex Cord, "Airwolf") and Myra (Samantha Eggar) are two archaeologists who are investigating an Etruscan burial ground in Italy. They discovered an ancient tomb untouched for thousands of years. Soon after the crypt is opened a series of gruesome murders occur. The police begin an investigation and Jason becomes their prime suspect due to his alcoholism and violent temper. Attempting to clear his name, Jason begins his own investigation as the vicious murders continue. Could the corpses of the Etruscans have risen from the dead to enact revenge on those who have disturbed the sacred land where they lay?
An excellent and very suspenseful thriller from Italian director Armando Crispino who is best know for his film AUTOPSY (1974). Also starring as Myra's husband is John Marley who is best remembered for his role in THE GODFATHER (1972).
