This is a hilarious crime caper on a par with the best of 'em. It's a non-stop rollercoaster of style and fun and excitement and surprising twists, without the annoying slow spots that so often bog down caper films.
There's nothing profound here, but the artistic power and creativity of the visuals is truly stunning. Each frame is a beautifully composed by DP Jonathan Sela, and director Kitamura's choices are fresh and exciting.
Perhaps good for a laugh, but not much more. Steven Seagal's voice is dubbed by someone else for most of the dialog, which surprisingly doesn't help the film. Gary Daniels is totally wasted in a lame 30 second fight with Seagal. And why is everyone glistening?
