This film is the prescription for HK's recent cinematic woes, a throwback to the action-centric films of the "good old days": people smashing through glass windows, walls, and tables; stunts that make you wince and then rewind and then smile; and fu fights that are fast and fierce. A fun ride!

A fantastic, light-hearted, artsy film about an aged gangster returning to Hong Kong for revenge. Terrific casting and a solid script give all characters immense depth.
