EPISODE #8: ETUDE IN BLACK (Season Two)
Columbo has to unravel a musical murder mystery set around the famous Hollywood Bowl, after brilliant symphony orchestra conductor Alex Benedict takes matters into his own hands when his career is threatened by scandal, after his mistress, young and talented concert pianist Jenefer Welles, threatens to go public and tell his wife of their relationship, who's mother just happens to be "Patron Of The Arts".
EPISODE #28: CANDIDATE FOR CRIME (Season Three)
Campaign manager Harry Stone manufactures a story that senatorial candidate, Nelson Hayward, is the target of a murder plot. Hayward seizes the opportunity to carry out his own murder plan--the cold-blooded killing of Harry Stone--making it look as if he himself was the intended victim. Columbo hits the election campaign trail with the candidate, only to learn that behind the smiles and political rhetoric, Hayward is the prize in a love triangle involving his wife Victoria's secretary.
