| Overview: | WHEN THERE'S NOTHING MORE TO LOSE, IT'S TIME FOR REVENGE!
Ringo Carson has a tough life. First, he has a falling out with his best friend, Frank Sanders, after saving Jane, the girl he loves, from Mexican kidnappers in order to extort a ransom from her gunrunner father. Frank goes off to the Civil War. Ringo reconciles with his estranged mother who needs his fast gun to protect her land from greedy land-grabber Daniels. Then Frank returns from the Civil War just in time to take a hand on the wrong side against Ringo, who is blinded by a blow to the head. Next Ringo's mom is murdered in an effort to steal her deeds. From that point Ringo has to plot revenge, save his wife from the clutches of his old friend, keep the deeds out of Daniels' hands, rescue his son from the clutches of the bad guys and wipe out all of Daniels' gun hands - a cinch for a blind man.
THREE BULLETS FOR RINGO is one of two Spaghetti Westerns by little-known director Emimmo Salvi, director of only nine films. He wore many hats in the Italian film industry. He was a writer, a production manager and a producer, best known for the enormously successful GOLIATH AND THE BARBARIANS (also available from Wild East). The weird and sometimes atmospheric music is by Armando Sciascia (TOMB OF TORTURE). The bleak look of the film is the work of cinematographer Mario Parapetti (DJANGO KILLS SOFTLY and the horror exploitation favorite THE EMBALMER).
The cast includes many recognizable faces from Spaghetti Westerns and other genres. Mickey Hargitay of STRANGER IN SACRAMENTO and CJAMANGO (available from Wild East) is the frantic hero Ringo. His villainous foils are Gordon Mitchell (BEYOND THE LAW, GIANT OF METROPOLIS and countless other films) and Ivano Staccioli (ANY GUN CAN PLAY) under the pseudonym John Heston. Ringo's wife is played by Milla Sannoner (MASSACRE AT GRAND CANYON) and his best friend Tom is Spartaco Conversi (as Spean Convery), a perennial villain in spaghetti Westerns (SABATA, ONCE UPON A TIME... IN THE WEST).
