| Overview: | You'll howl with laughter as everyone's favorite poker-faced pooch tickles your funny hone in this classic collection of six cartoon gems!
Created in 1943 by master animator Tex Avery, Droopy has always been one of cartoondom's most celebrated players. His ability and range make him a natural performer, able to take on all manner of Hollywood roles. In "Dixieland Droopy" he enacts the life story of jazz legend John Pettibone, who has a Dixieland band for fleas. "Droopy's Double Trouble" gives our top dog a chance at a dual role, playing himself and brother Drippy, an iron-pumping pup. And, in a final twist, Droopy plays triplets in "Three Little Pups", joining brothers Snoopy and Loopy in outwitting a wacky, wolfy dog catcher.
Droopy's humorous adventures take him all around the world: to Mexico where Senor Droopy fights a bull and a wolfy bullfighter for the hand of a live-action senorita; to Ireland, where a greedy bulldog mistakes him for a Droopy Leprechaun; and under the Big Top, where Dardevil Droopy competes against Spike for the job of circus stunt dog.
