It is the first in the “Tragaluz Trilogy of Cruelty” (“Trilogia de la Crueldad”) on teenage violence. Setting her sights on the growing problem of sexual assault in Mexico City, she fictionalizes the true story of a friendship between two teenagers, Yessica (Ximena Ayala, Ciudades Oscuras/Dark Cities) and Miriam (Nancy Gutierrez), which is torn apart when one of them is brutally raped.
