Many people really liked this film's slow pace and "flawed" characters; but we feel the film just didn't have too much to say, and the corrupt characters were too sleazy and selfish to really care about.
A killer street racing flick! In or opinion, this film is a lot more fun and exciting than Full Throttle or Roaring Wheels! Great effects and incredibly stylish direction keep you on the edge of your seat all the way through!
Though this film is fun, we feel that the amateurish direction severely diminishes its overall effect. Both of the big fight scenes were shot much too close-up to be able to really follow much; and the car races are laughably sped up. There is some real gold hidden among the pyrite, however. Jackie's martial arts performance is consistently energetic, and his trademark acrobatic escapades still wow.
