This film is pretty bad. But what a joy to see Gordon Liu, Chin Kar Lok, David Chiang, and Ti Lung together at once!
Though this film is fun, we feel that the amateurish direction severely diminishes its overall effect. Both of the big fight scenes were shot much too close-up to be able to really follow much; and the car races are laughably sped up. There is some real gold hidden among the pyrite, however. Jackie's martial arts performance is consistently energetic, and his trademark acrobatic escapades still wow.
