A mellow backstage interview with Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of Kiss. The guys talk about their upcoming album, life on the road, the "make up" era, the fans, and the music.
Overview:
In 1990, while on tour to promote their 23rd album, "Hot In The Shade", the legendary rock group Kiss sat down with our cameras just after coming off-stage from playing to a sold-out crowd in Georgia. Founding members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons give an in-depth look into how the "Kiss machine" works and what it is that keeps it going.
Kiss addresses certain rumor such as a make-up reunion or an original member tour. They give their thoughts on past members of Kiss and share some funny road stories of a career that had already spanned close to 20 years at that point.
Our cameras caught up with Kiss again in 1992 during a music video shoot for the "Revenge" album. Paul Stanley shares his thoughts on the death of Eric Carr as they explain why the band must go forward, how Kiss has been re-born, and what's in store for the future!
