Excellent film about love and the meaning of life. Based on a play and very successful at the box office when released.
An acclaimed drama and true story about a blind girl. Low-budget production, but with an excellent script and acting.
Though this film is fun, we feel that the amateurish direction severely diminishes its overall effect. Both of the big fight scenes were shot much too close-up to be able to really follow much; and the car races are laughably sped up. There is some real gold hidden among the pyrite, however. Jackie's martial arts performance is consistently energetic, and his trademark acrobatic escapades still wow.
