Overview:	Mangin (Gerard Depardieu) is a cop. His colleagues and pal Lambert (Richard Anconina) is a crafty barrister who gets his clients out of a fix in no time. Mangin arrests two of Lambert's clients Noria (Sophie Marceau) and her lover, Simon, for drug traffiking. But the interrogation of young , beautiful and hostile Noria stirs Mangin's emotions. Simon is sent to prison, but Lambert manages a provisional discharge for Noria. She then plunges into the underworld again with her "brothers-in-law" narcotic dealers. But Noria robs them of several hundred millions. From then on she is tracked down. Lambert is also threatened by gang-leader Rene (Franck Karaoui). Noria's last card is Mangin. If she wishes, Mangin will do anything to protect her. But can Noria give up her freedom, her set violence? Can she live with a cop?
