| Harry Sanders has accepted a new post that will take him to south west Africa; he's been engaged by an insurance broker to investigate the loss of a diamond dredger that they had insured to tycoon A.J. Magnus.
Sanders joins Magnus' Captain von Koltzes, his money hungry wife and his beautiful sister as they search for the missing ship.
During their expedition, Sanders is called on to save von Koltzes's life. Indebted, von Koltze reveals a “secret” to Sanders; as a German Submarine Commander he sunk a British ship loaded with a consignment of gold off the coast.
Now the race for the treasure is on as Magnus, who had cheated his original partner, becomes aware of the gold. In a high stakes game of double-cross and murder, the prize is worth killing for!
