| Four rockumentaries on 2 double-sided discs! Including the following:
SKID ROW:
Skid Row was one of the last hair metal bands to hit the mainstream before grunge took over in the early '90s. They were also arguably the last such band to have any originality. Though personal differences and changing trends would eventually tear the band apart by 1996, Skid Row showed a tremendous amount of promise during their dynamic run in the mainstream.
DAMN YANKEES:
In 1989 the combination of Night Ranger's Jack Blades, Styx's Tommy Shaw, the motor city madman Ted Nugent, and young power drummer Michael Cartellone formed the rock band Damn Yankees. These rock idols went double-platinum on their self-titled debut album. A second album, "Don't Tread", climbed to number 22 on the charts in August 1992, but the following year the band called it quits.
SLAUGHTER:
Slaughter was formed in August of 1984 by Terry Sadler (vocals/bass guitar), Dave Hewson (vocals/chainsaw guitars) and Ron Sumners (drums). Slaughter was one of the first original death metal bands to emerge in the early 1980s--pioneering days of thrash/death and doom metal!
WHITE LION:
This US hard rock band was formed in Brooklyn, New York, durin g1983, bt Mike Tramp and Vito Bratta. After a series of false starts, they signed to Elektra Records with Felix Robinson and Dave Capozzi completing the line-up. White Lion eventually broke up, with Tramp going on to form Freak Of Nature.
