A very odd tale indeed, very much brought to life by the cast of terrific actors. Like the main character's life, this film is more about the drive than the destination.
Though many people feel Quentin Tarantino "borrowed" too much of the film's content from "City On Fire", this was nonetheless a genre-defining film that has stood the test of time.
An all-too-familiar buddy cop flick, but the chemistry between Chan and Tucker is superb. The fight scenes and comedy are top-notch.
