Plot:	"Below The Lion Rock" revolves around the lives of the grass-roots in Hong Kong, portraying their support of each other's struggles for a better life. It captures the historical and social changes from the 70s through the mid 90s.
Overview:	The success that Hong Kong finds today as an international metropolis and a centre for trade and finance is the culmination of our collective endeavours over the challenging times of the past few decades. The series unfolds the history of this era, and pays tribute to everyone who played a part in making Hong Kong what it is today. The stories revolve around the grass-roots Hongkongers, portraying their hopes and dreams and struggle to create a better life for themselves, capturing the socio-historical changes of our city from the 70's to the mid-90's. The entire series covers a quarter of a century, from the difficult times of the 60's & 70's through to the thriving 80's & 90's. It bears witness to the social changes and upheavals of our city, vividly capturing on the television screen a rich cross-section of life and characters from this chapter of our collective history.
