Plot:	A dashing pilot is attacked and awakens in a hospital to find himself being cared for by the beautiful doctor Emy Wong. He falls in love with her, but soon learns that, in keeping with ancient Asian customs, she is betrothed to a man she's never met.
Overview:	After a wild night on the town, a dashing British airline pilot is attacked and beaten by thugs. When he wakes in the hospital he finds himself cared for by a beautiful doctor, Emy Wong. The two grow close and begin an affair, though Emy has been promised to another man through an arranged marriage. A jealous female friend causes the two lovers to separate, leaving Emy all alone. Dishonored, and abandoned, she falls into a desperate life of prostitution.
