Plot:	Sonny Chiba is an undercover cop caught in the crossfire between rival yakuza mobsters fighting for control of Tokyo's drug and gambling trades. To bring them down, he infiltrates both gangs, pitting one against the other.
Overview:	"Kill Bill" and "Streetfighter" star Sonny Chiba plays an undercover cop caught in the crossfire between rival yakuza mobsters fighting for control of Tokyo's lucrative drug and gambling trades. To bring them down, Chiba plays the dangerous game of infiltrating both gangs, pitting one against the other. The undercover operation takes a turn for the worse when Chiba's cover is blown and he's forced to battle both gangs at the same time. "The Assassin" picks up where "Streetfighter" left off.
