Though this film is fun, we feel that the amateurish direction severely diminishes its overall effect. Both of the big fight scenes were shot much too close-up to be able to really follow much; and the car races are laughably sped up. There is some real gold hidden among the pyrite, however. Jackie's martial arts performance is consistently energetic, and his trademark acrobatic escapades still wow.
Plot: Jackie's entire family is slaughtered by a gang led by female kung fu fighter who loves Jackie but knows that he can never love her. She redeems herself by passing on her fighting skills to Jackie and helps him to devise a plan to challenge his enemies.

Plot: In this third installment of the "Lucky Stars" series, the famous 5 are summoned to protect a lovely female informant (Rosamund Kwan) from assassins, all the while trying to cozy up to her in their own wacky way.

Surprisingly very good! Incredible production values, and the best fight scenes we've seen in a long time, courtesy of Donnie Yen. Charlene Choi is irritating, but what are you gonna' do?
