This movie is just plain depressing. Depressing music. Depressing sets. It's slow, low-budget, boring, and doesn't even make sense. And a set in Canada just doesn't pass for New York.
Not the best mystery-thriller ever made, but memorable nonetheless and dealing with a subject that we've never seen at the heart of a thriller before. Some good twists and turns!
