Reviewers who insist this film is simply "an erotic stew of sex and hair" are missing the point. It's really a pretty moving and sentimental look at two people's relationship.
This hilariously dark comedy, full of weird monsters and weird neighbors, finds the perfect balance of horror and laughs. Very unique, it holds a special place in our hearts.
Leaning much more towards comedy than horror, this sequel is perhaps too light-hearted, though it does have a certain zany appeal to it. A very good "first horror movie" for the kids.
