Underskilled actors portray boring, stupid characters who are overburdened by countless ridiculous plot twists and cliches until the entire film just collapses like a cheap house of cards. Spend an hour with your kids or take a walk instead of enduring this trite garbage.
In our opinion, this is the best (yes, we said "THE best") horror movie of all time. In fact, it's one of the best movies of any genre of all time. Not to be missed!
This film is a total mess. The filmmakers decided to try to "explain" the mystery of Michael Myers with some gobbledygook about a satanic cult, but they edited out most of the "explanation", leaving only nonsense. There is a bootleged "producer's cut" floating around the internet with all the cut footage intact.
As fans of the series (which completely derailed in Part 6), this is a very special film to us. Halloween returns to its roots in this very effective installement, delivering enjoyable dialog, characters, storyline, and scares.
