A very odd film, to be sure, but Depp and Landau are excellent as always, and their characters make the trip worthwhile.
A terrific film with the unique adventure of three colorful and endearing characters. The only thing preventing this film from being truly great is the unsatisfying ending, which felt like a bit of a cop-out to us.
Despite an appealing premise and some good performances, the "after school special" melodrama and hit-or-miss cast hold this movie back.
