By using our web site, you agree with our company policies as listed below:
- You must be 18 or older to use this site or place an order! You are responsible for complying with your local laws pertaining to the purchase of adult materials.

- Ask any and all questions before checking out. After you place an order, we will process it. The comments and special instructions section on the checkout page is not a proper forum for asking us questions or placing contingencies on your order. Please email us your questions using our contact form before placing your order.
- Many of our DVDs do NOT have region coding and should be playable in any DVD player. DVDs that do have region coding are very clearly marked. We guarantee that all DVDs are defect-free. Should you suspect a defect, we will replace the DVD with the same title DVD. We will, however, check all suspected defective discs on our Pioneer and Sony DVD reference players. If the DVD plays perfectly, it will be returned to you. We recommend any major-brand DVD player for playback: Toshiba, Sony, Pioneer, Proton, Proscan, Yamaha, Panasonic, etc. If you are using a low-end (cheap) or a computer DVD player, you may experience problems with ANY DVD.
- You can only cancel order items that have not been charged or shipped. Cancellations must be done via MY ACCOUNT. Simply log into your account, view order history, click the order that has items you wish to cancel, check all the items you wish to cancel, and hit "cancel checked items". Special Order items cannot be cancelled. Refunds for prepaid (check/Paypal) orders will be issued once the order is complete (all items either shipped or cancelled).

By placing an order with us you agree that you will not issue a credit card chargeback under any circumstance. Should there be a disagreement between you and HKFLIX.com, you agree that the matter shall be resolved through binding arbitration using the services of an independent mediator
- No cash refunds. HKFlix does not issue cash, credit card, or paypal refunds for returns or cancellations of any kind. Returns of unopened DVDs and hardware and cancelled orders can be exchanged for FlixBux (store credit) only, less applicable restocking fees.
- We are not responsible for typographical and image-related errors on our web site. Most of this information is compiled from sources such as DVD cases and manufacturers' literature; and although we make every possible effort to insure the accuracy of the information, errors may sometimes occur. Our product images are for illustrative purposes only. Although we make every effort to maintain the accuracy of our images, new versions of products are constantly being released and it is not always possible for us to immediately update the web site.
- We do guarantee the following information: Region coding and formatting (PAL or NTSC), and language and subtitle options. Please note that language and subtitle information only pertains to the actual feature film, not to any extras or special features present on the DVD.
- We are not responsible for pricing errors. Occasionally, a pricing error may occur. In the event of a pricing error, you will be notified of the correct price and given the option to cancel your order. If such an error occurs you will be given free shipping.
- We cannot accept personal checks from outside the USA. If you live outside the USA and want to pay by check, the only payment we will accept is a money order or cashier's check made out in US$. There is a minimum 14 day period for personal checks to clear. We recommend U.S. Postal Money Orders for domestic payment via mail. There is a $20 service fee for returned (bounced) checks.
- HKFlix cannot accept returns if you don't like a movie or are disappointed with the quality of a DVD. We have gone to great efforts to provide you with as much information as possible about each film, and we make no attempt to censor our content in any way. DVD quality is a matter of personal opinion. While we attempt to note serious DVD flaws if they exist, we cannot screen every DVD.
