We put together this quick tutorial to help you better understand how our shopping cart and your account work. 1. LOGIN (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) http://www.hkflix.com/login.asp If you have already created an account, you will need to log in before you can access your wish list or account information, or place an order. Simply enter your email address and password and click the "login" button. If you cannot remember your password, click the "Lost Password?" link and then enter your email address to have your password sent to you. If you receive an error message "Email not found", that means either you mis-typed your email address, your account is under another email address, or you have not yet opened an account with our new system. If you have not yet opened an account, see #2 below. 2. NEW USERS (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) http://www.hkflix.com/login.asp After clicking the "New User?" link, just enter your information and hit the "submit" button. That's it! You now have an account! When you place your first order, you will have to enter your billing and shipping addresses. After that, the system will store them for you, so all you will have to do is log in before ordering. This will save you valuable time on future orders. 3. MY ACCOUNT (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) http://www.hkflix.com/myaccount.asp After logging in, you will have access to "My Account", which lists your billing and shipping information, the orders you've placed, your Wish List, and more. To get to "My Account" after logging in, simply use one of the links on our site: there's one near the top of every page near the shopping cart link. These are some options available to you on the "My Account" page: MODIFY LOGIN & BILLING Click this link to review or edit your email address, password, or billing information. EDIT SHIPPING LOCATIONS Click this link to review or edit your shipping locations. Store as many different shipping locations as you like. You can name each one with a nickname so it's easier to remember, and you can also modify or delete any of them from here. ORDER STATUS / ORDER HISTORY (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) Click this link to see all the orders you have placed. You can click any order number to see details of that order. If the order has not yet been charged or shipped, you can also cancel any or all of the items in your orders here. The order details page will show you everything you need to know about each order, including: Billing & Shipping Addresses Order notes left by HKFlix staff All items ordered and their current status (processing, charged, shipped, or cancelled) All payments received (Note: check payments will not show up until payment clears) FLIX BUX AVAILABLE "Flix Bux" is what we call store credit. Since we do not issue cash refunds, any remaining balance from previous orders will go into your Flix Bux account. Flix Bux can be used towards any purchase at HKFlix.com. 4. WISH LIST (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) http://www.hkflix.com/wishlist.asp Your Wish List is is handy way to keep a list of items you want to purchase or simply remind yourself of. Here are some notes on using your Wish List: You can add any DVD/VCD to your Wish List from any DVDetails page. Instead of clicking the "BUY" button like you would normally do to make a purchase, click the "WISH LIST" button to add the item to your Wish List. If you are not yet logged in, you will need to log in first. You can also add any DVD/VCD to your Wish List from your shopping cart. Once you've added the item to your cart, click the "Wish List" button next to that item to add it to your Wish List. If you are not yet logged in, you will need to log in first. To delete any item from your Wish List, simply click the "Delete" button next to that item. You can add it again later if you wish. To purchase any item on your Wish List, simply click the film's title. You will be taken to that product's DVDetails page, where you can review all the product details and notes and the price before clicking the "BUY" button to make the purchase. It is possible that an item may become unavailable after you add it to your Wish List. In this case you may not be able to purchase it even if it is in your Wish List. You can also prioritize items in your Wish List, and receive notification when they are back in stock (if they are temporarily out of stock). Items remain in your Wish List until you delete them, offering you total control of what is listed in your Wish List. Your Wish List starts out "private", which means that only you can view it. If you choose to, you can make your Wish List "public" using the appropriate link on the Wish List page. Once your Wish List is "public", anyone can see it if you send them a link to it. After you've made your Wish List "public", you can use the "CLICK HERE TO TELL A FRIEND ABOUT THIS PAGE" link near the bottom of the page to send the link to friends. And of course, if you choose to, you can make your Wish List "private" again at any time. 5. CHECKOUT http://www.hkflix.com/cart.asp Once you have items in your shopping cart and are ready to checkout, simply go to your shopping cart page (there are "shopping cart" links near the top of every page) and click the button for "Checkout". At this point, if you are not yet logged in, you will need to either log in or open a new account (see #1 and #2 above). We hope that you find our checkout process to be familiar and simple. But following is some additional information you may find useful: DOMESTIC SHIPPING OPTIONS (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) Shipments within the USA can choose from our Economy and Standard options, as well as several FedEx Express options, depending on your location. If you do not see any FedEx Express options displayed here, it means one of the following things: FedEx does not ship to your location FedEx simply doesn't recognize something in your address. Please double-check your shipping address to make sure your city, state and zip code are correct. FedEx's servers are temporarily unavailable to generate shipping rates. Please check back later. If you still do not see FedEx Express shipping options, please LET US KNOW! INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING OPTIONS (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) Shipments outside the USA can choose from our International Standard or Canada Standard options, as well as several FedEx Express options, depending on your location. PAYMENT OPTIONS (CLICK HERE FOR SCREENSHOT) We offer a variety of payment options to suit any need. Below are details on our payment options: Credit Card Online (Recommended) This is the best way to pay for your order, since we don't charge your credit card for anything until it ships. Items are held for you immediately after your order is placed. If any items from your order become unavailable, you are never charged for them. Check/Money Order via Postal Mail This is the least desirable payment option for several reasons. After placing your order, you will have to print out the invoice and mail it to us along with your check. But keep in mind, mail can get lost or delayed, we are not responsible for your payment until it arrives. Once we receive it, we have to deposit it into our account and wait for it to clear. Only then can we enter the payment into our system, hold items for you, or begin to process your order. After paying, if any items in your order become unavailable, you will be issued a store credit (Flix Bux). PayPal Online After checkout you will be re-directed to PayPal's website to complete payment. Your order will not be processed until we receive your PayPal payment. By using PayPal, you are agreeing to pre-pay for your entire order, even if some items are temporarily on backorder, or become unavailable. After paying, if any items in your order become unavailable, you will be issued a store credit (Flix Bux). Pay for entire order using Flix Bux This option is only available if you have enough "Flix Bux" (store credit) to pay for the entire order. Flix Bux will be deducted from your account and used towards the order. Items will be held for you immediately. If any items from your order become unavailable, we will refund any remaining balance to your Flix Bux account. More About Flix Bux If you have any Flix Bux (store credit) in your account, you can use it towards your order. Enter the amount you would like to use into the form on this page before continuing.
