The HKFlix site is designed primarily for ease of use. Because of this, you will be able to easily navigate throughout the site from any single page. Here are some guidelines, and some tips for efficient browsing: The top of each page has a "Quick Search" form. Here you can easily enter all or some of the name of a person or film title and search our entire database quickly. Use as few words as possible to find what you want. For example, to find all Jackie Chan films, enter "Jackie Chan", not "Jackie Chan (Sing Lung)". If your search finds only one film, you'll automatically be taken to the page for that film. The DVDetails Page (or, the detailed information page) for each film has several features that are designed to help you learn more about that film and find other similar films. Here are some of the features to look for on any DVDetails page: DVD OR VCD FORMAT: By the title of the film (in red), there will be either a link or gray text telling you whether the film is available in DVD format, VCD format, or both. Directly underneath the title, there will be text that tells you whether the film is compatible with all regions, or just certain ones. CLICKABLE INFORMATION: All purple text on the DVDetails page is clickable. This means that you can click the director's name to quickly find other films featuring that person, you can click the release year to find other movies released that year, etc. Particularly useful may be the clickable genre, subgenre, and keywords. Clicking any of these links will automatically search for films that fall within that genre, or that are related to that keyword somehow. TELL A FRIEND: On the bottom of every DVDetails page, there is a "Tell A Friend" link. Clicking this link will allow you to automatically email a link to that page to a friend. (By the way, this feature is also available for almost every page on our site. So it's a great, easy way to tell a friend when you see something interesting!) Whether browsing by Search Engine, Pull-Down Menu, or Clickable Info. Links, you have the option of filtering your results. On any "Browsing…" page, you may select how many results you want to see per page, whether you want to include VCDs in your results, and whether you want to see thumbnails of the film artwork.
