The Fortune Code All Content Used With Permission. ![]() ![]() An all-star cast from the 80's, a Japanese-run P.O.W. camp full of characters with their own agendas. Sammo Hung is the boss of the Chinese spy network and sends Alan Tam, Andy Lau and Anita Mui to the prison camp to find the man with a code so the Chinese can access money in a Swiss bank account for the war effort. For two thirds the movie runs for a slow pace before the final ending, knowing where the code is and the fight to get out of the camp from the Japanese. -DarkHumour (see my profile) ![]()
1942. Andy Lau (along with a whole cadre of HK's biggestcharacter actors) are prisoners in Camp 732, where they must find "The God of Fortune" -- a treasure to finance the Chinese resistance effort. Alan Tam plays the evil commandant, Sammo Hung the ninja-like kung-fu master, and Anita Mui an undercover nurse; whaliferous Kent Cheng has reverted to a child and has to be breast-fed by his pals. A comedy with great fights, and a lot of flat jokes. -Steve
