Overview:	A young man from the country travels to Shanghai to claim the prize of a new apartment, which he won in a newspaper contest. There, he meets with his scheming aunt, a gritty subway musician, the beautiful Ah Hui and her boyfriend. Later on, he learns that his 'prize' has not been built yet and decides to make a go at life in the big city.
