Picture: A film of such visual beauty needs a good transfer and this just about hits the mark. Picture quality is fairly strong with solid colour depth, but uninspiring black levels and a very soft look. There are times when the picture is slightly dull, but overall it's adequate.

Sound: Cantonese or Mandarin soundtracks with English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles (removable).
