ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
A month before the 1997 takeover, a Indu-Pakistan becomes the new Prime Minister of British Government. To ease the tension between China and Britain, British government appoints a cook, Yan (Law Kar-Ying), in a British Chinese restaurant to be the last governor of Hong Kong. At the same time, triad hitmen are out to kill anybody who is in charge, so two specially trained bodyguards, Dai Kin (Michael Chow) and Luk Got (Eric Kot), are posted for Yan's security...
