I really enjoyed the movie. It was a love story of friendship, loyalty, love and sacrifice between two women that prevailed over a lifetime. It was deeply moving. Carina Lau was outstanding and worthy of her nomination for best actress in Hong Kong.

The drawback was the contant going back and forth between the past and the present. It made the movie choppy at times and distracting.

I highly recommend the movie and don't forget to bring your tissues. It is a tearjerker.
