This is a really bad comedy. It has an interesting premise but cheesy follow through. The movie revolves around professional pranksters. One "good" one "evil". The good prankster has his code of conduct and rules about who he is willing to trick. The evil one obviously lacks those kinds of things. The problem is the pranks are lousy. A lot of them are very cartoonish, which doesn't play well with live actors. The story lacks a consistent back and forth battle between foes, or a spoofing of "gangster code of honor" type films. Something that might have given the film a better pace. There's just nothing really worthwhile to this film. |
