| Mei Ah presents the movie in its original 1.85:1 aspect ratio. It has not been enchanced for widescreen televisions. Overall the print is more than acceptable. The colurs and detail are nice but there are quite a number of specks on this fairly recent movie.
We get the cantonese and mandarin language tracks in both 2.0 and 5.1 plus subtitles in english, traditional and simplified chinese and thai. The low budget origin of the movie are sometimes reflected in the audio. There's some uneven mixing between dialogue and music but those moments are far and between and both dialogue and music are presented nicely on the 2.0 track that I listened to. As usual some spelling errors are present in the english subtitles but they're always easy to read and understand.
The extras consists of trailers for this movie, which contain a small bit of additional footage (see below) and the trailer for The Mission. The Data Bank consists of the movies synopsis and a cast & crew listing. Pretty useless stuff if you ask me. |
