 | | | | | This is a film with many messages to convey and also many characters to portray. It may be too difficult a task for Francis Ng as a follow-up to his directorial debut. The storyline apart, the performance of the cast is good. Ng, for a change, does not try too hard in his acting, and Anthony Wong, Cheung Tat-ming and Dayo Wong excel in their comic performance, interacting with Kwan Hoi-san and Chan Tze-ching to produce a group portrait of the education system. Even though the young actors are very inexperienced, the audience can feel their energy. The chemistry between the stars and the student actors results in a film that is full of life. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | | This may be one of the worst movies of the year. The scriptwriter and director try their best to comment on the education system in Hong Kong, but they know nothing about the education system and use no factual information as their basis. It's never easy to handle this type of subject, but the films cavalier attitude towards facts makes it even worse. Audiences who are attracted by the names of Raymond To and Francis Ng in the credit will be disappointed . It has seriously damaged Francis Ng's reputation as a director, which he established by directing the movie 9413. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |

 | | | | | Francis Ng is admirable. This film vaguely attempts to tackle the problems of the Hong Kong education system and youth issues through the story of a recovering mental patient, but it misses the point. Ng is inexperienced in this regard, but it may be due to the subject of this movie. As for the description of school life, this is normally an inflexible subject in terms of story development. Though this film has the desire to explore this area, it's very difficult to present this kind of subject. The result is that this production seems just like an RTHK documentary. However, independent productions courageous enough to explore this subject matter must be commended. | | LOG IN TO COMMENT ON THIS REVIEW! |
