| Overview: | Godzilla teams up with a psuedo-robot called "Jet Jaguar" (pronounced "JET JAG-yoo-ur") to defend Tokyo from an underwater menace known as Megalon. It seems that the underwater kingdom of Seatopia is none too pleased about the atomic bomb testing going on above their underwater lair. Seatopia unleashes their wrath on the cities above by summoning "Megalon" (the funkiest hybrid of cockroach, Makita power drill, and The Fly ever before seen). Megalon in turn enlists the aid of Godzilla's ever-vigilant nemesis Gigan to assist in his chores. Get ready for high camp as these four funky monsters wage war from air, sea, and land!
This film contains the famous scene of Godzilla sliding horizontally on his tail, seen in the opening credits of Mystery Science Theater 3000. And to answer your questions: YES, it is worth buying the movie for that scene alone.
