The film is a deadpan throwback to giant superheroes of old, with Daisato struggling to win over the masses in the age of Gross National Cool. Popular comedian Mastumoto directs himself in a hilarious performance that touches on Japan's relationship with its own culture. Look for pop diva UA in a small role.
