Plot:	France, 1940. Major Perrochon is the director of a camp of refugees, mostly Jews. His orders are to hand the prisoners over to the Nazis, but he disobeys and tries to transport about 800 of the prisoners to Casablanca, Morocco. Based on a true story.
Overview:	May, 1940. In a village called Les Milles located in South France, the French army commandeers and old brick factory to maintain German, French, Austrian, Czech, and stateless civilians, most of which are either Jews, communists, or opponents to Nazism. Many fled Germany, thinking they could find protection in France. Major Perrochon, director of the camp, has orders to hand the prisoners over to the Nazis but disobeys his superiors and tries to transport about 800 of the prisoners to Casablanca, Morocco.
