| This is a strange little flick that is fairly uneven and sorta' confusing in its presentation of a pretty basic plotline. The story deals with members of an architectural firm who are bidding on a big project when they get news that there is some last minute competition from another firm that is challenging their submission, and, apparently as part of the competition, the office principal's daughter has been kidnapped.
The plot jumps back and forth between scenes of the firm's boss and the sexual relationship he is having with his young secretary/assistant and the tribulations that his daughter is facing as she is chained up in some cellar full of pipes and tanks being menaced by a strange figure disguised in a sumo wrestler's suit and wearing a gas mask. The captive girl rapidly forms a weird bond with her captor, who ultimately deflowers her before revealing a shocking identity.
The strengths of this flick are mostly in the bondage and sex scenes. The two main female leads are quite attractive and they spend a fair amount of time naked performing animated simulated sex. The bondage isn't particularly creative, mostly handcuffs and chained-to-a-pipe stuff. The weakness of the film is in its rather confusing and sketchy character development, which isn't helped much by a fairly poor translation for the English subtitles [on the HK DVD by CN]. You can understand the basic premise, but a lot of the subtlety gets lost... I had to watch it twice to really get a grasp on who was who and what was going on.
In the final analysis: for B&D fans a few good kinky scenes, but nothing groundbreaking. Worth a look. |
