The 1960's episodes are decent quality, and as long as you don't mind seeing the Starz ACTION channel logo appear from time to time, it's great to have these episodes on DVD. However they exhibit all the telltale signs of being ripped from someone's DVR: color is saturated and dark, but passable.

The serial episodes have issues with audio, but they're better than the ones from the various public domain download sites.

If you're a Hornet fan and your old VHS copies of the show are getting a little rough, this will make a fine addition to your collection--at least until the episodes are re-released in a remastered/official collection.
