| Overview: | After months of hard work, Diana (Pilar Velázquez) is finally ready to present her dissertation and get her degree in sociology. The subject of study is prostitution in Italian contemporary society. To get to know deeply this complex matter, Diana has been a prostitute for three months. This unique point of view gave her the opportunity to study the desires and deviations of typical Italian males. At first upset by the subject, all the committee members (men and women alike) soon become very interested as Diana tells them her findings.
With all the classic elements of Italian sexy comedies of the seventies, this unusual movie also makes a mild attempt of social analysis, dealing with very controversial issues, such as homosexuality, incest, and sex among religious people. Was it not for the comedic tone, it might very well have been totally banned by censorship. Luckily such was not the case.
