| I love the "Assassins 2009". The Hisatsu series is the best Japanese TV series ever made. I love Hisatsu series since 1972 Hitsatsu Shiokini when Mondo Nakamura first appeared in the series. I love the Mondo Nakamura character as well as Makoto Fujita acting his role in the Hisatsu series on the Japanese DVD version with no subtitle (Hisatsu Shiokinin, Shitomenin, Shigotoyakagyo, Shigyonin, Shin Shiokinin, Edo Professional Shobainin, Shigotonin, Shin Shigotonin, Shiotnin 3-5 & Gekitotsu) which stories had been connected and plotted well. I am happy that I am bilingual in Japanese and English because I came to the US when I was 13 years old in 1973. I love the Hisatu series because it has a human story with a dark sense of humur, showing the dark side of assassins' lifestyle as well as the comedic side of Mondo's relationship with his wife and mother-in-law. It has a simple plot but is really effective. |
