ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
Junko, a Korean resident in Japan comes, to Korea as a transfer student to find the boy that she likes. She arrives at guest house 'Sentiment' and is happy to have her own room, delicious food, and a kind owner. But soon she finds out her room actually belongs to the owner's son Jong-man who passes out in the room, and Junko is dumbfounded as she Shares the room with him on her first night in Seoul. The owner persuades Junko to stay by offering her his son's room find Korean language lessons. He then pressures Jong-man to be Junko's private tutor in order to pay off his credit card debt. Same age as Junko, Jong-man is careless about his tutoring job but his father's watchful eye is overbearing. On the contrary, Junko shows great enthusiasm and is determined to absorb everything she learns. So begins Jong-man's sloppy Korean lesson! Jong-man gets the obedient Junko to practice tongue twisters and cuts class to go out drinking. Then he carelessly teaches her rough slangs and profanity and leads Junko to make a full out of herself in public. But Junko dedicates herself to the studies she's just begun, and through the senseless lessons, she eventually becomes a foul-mouthed foreigner. Junko's wishful time in Korea keeps twisting and turning... |
