"The Sky Crawlers" is set in an alternate world where peace has been attained and people wanted war as a show. Ageless pilots known as Kildren engage in endless dogfight combat for rival companies to maintain the illusion of peace. Pilot Yuichi Kannami has just arrived at his new airbase, but he has no memories prior to his arrival. Though Yuichi is new at the base, everyone and everything seems oddly familiar to him. Could the mysterious base commander Suito Kusanagi and deadly rival pilot, Teacher, the only adult in the skies, hold the secret to his past?
