This was alright. I liked the goofy parts, but it would have had to be a lot funnier to be very enjoyable. The action was okay, but he's no Tony Jaa.

"Dynamite Warrior" is very interesting mix of genres. For instance, you have the western, with cattle and farm hands being attacked and robbed by bandits. On the other hand you have evil wizards that use magic to throw telekinetic attacks, and heroes that use rockets instead of guns.

The story takes place in Thailand in 1855. A man named Jone Bang Fai is on a mission to find his parents' killer. When he finds the evil wizard, he learns that he cannot defeat him. Jone is contracted by Lord Waeng who knows the secret of defeating the sorcerer. Lord Waeng has hired several bandit groups to ambush cattle traders to drum up sales for his tractor business. These groups have been defeated several times by the wizard and this starts his devious plot.

The action is good if you enjoy Muay-Thai fighting styles. The movie is an entertaining watch for the action and little story.

This is the best kind of low art, breaking no new ground but serving up an endlessly entertaining revenge plot peopled with extraordinarily talented stuntmen and fighters. It doesn't aspire to be anything more than it is. Dan Chupong is much less known in the West than Tony Jaa, but he is quite something to watch.

See it. You should agree.

The acting is really nothing to shout about in this film. Dan Chupong is not a good actor. Chalerm Wongpim’s direction has some really good moments, but at other times it’s not a good way to direct the action. I give the story credit for being different from "Ong-Bak" and "Tom Yum Goong", however it’s not all that great in its own right.

The action scenes were my main reason for seeing this film, and I was quite disappointed. Dan Chupong is acrobatically talented, but his hits lack a lot of power. A lot of the choreography seems re-hashed from films like "Born to Fight" and "Ong-Bak". Many scenes were ruined with uninteresting wirework. There were some cool moments here and there, though, and some nice falls.

Sadly, Panna Rittikrai's second collaboration with Dan Chupong only turns out to be a big disappointment.

What am I watching? I questioned myself when I saw this picture. "Tabanfire" is a horrible mess with its silly CGI and awful acting, plus a poor plot. The flick had some nice fancy fighting, but not enough to reccommend this to anyone.

I believe martial arts movie fans which are accustomed to no story and no acting but good action will like it. There are some really spectacular Muay Thai moves thrown in this movie and the story is okay.

Nthis movie features some tasty fight scenes, of course the plot is weak and some questionable rocket wielding stunts, but definately not a garbage movieAA19519

Although I was impressed with Dan Chupong's abilities, this movie isn't very good. I don't prefer the supernatural mixed in with my martial arts, and to watch a guy ride on a rocket was just too silly for my liking. I recommend you stay away from this one.

Although the movie was a little silly, the work by Dan Chupong is top-notch as always. I look forward to more work from Chupong, but hopefully they will be closer to "Born to Fight" then "Tabanfire".

Why did I buy this? Because it's by the director of "Ong-Bak". It's not as good as "Ong-Bak" or "Tom Yum Goong". The main actor is not up to Tony Jaa's level, but he sure is good enough for rest of us. It's a great movie with some good fights, but the magic stuff really kills it. It's kind of really anoying to see Thai people with super powers. You wanna' go, "What da? How is that????" Well, it could be a 5 out of 5 if they focused on Muay Thai instead of magic powers!
