ALTERNATE SYNOPSIS:
The 1987 Chow Yan Fat comedy classic THE ROMANCING STAR gets a makeover with this very funny updated version. In order to bring triad boss, Lobster, to justice, police superintendent Lek sends three of his officers: Bad Boy, Fattie and Silly Keung as undercover agents. But things go crazy when the trio falls in love with Beau, Fridge and Angel, three policewomen who are actually undercover triad members sent by Lobster!
